I just want to say that the idea of you sleeping with a night light is funny. That's a lie. Love you Mom.

Helen - As a Buddhist, I care very deeply about world peace. I believe that the path to a peace which passes all understanding is compassion and dialogue. Each day, I chant for the realization of a peaceful world, and for the happiness of all people. That includes our children and the people who would destroy us - if they become more enlightened and experience hope through education, they will not be inclined to fight with us, to attack.
I am proud that my children have studied hard and are now enjoying the positive trajectory of their lives. My son, the soon to be lawyer, gives back every day, reaches out to help those less fortunate with his precious little time, and donates money when he can. He pays his fair share of taxes while he spreads the wealth of his kindness and generosity around. I am proud of my son and welcome the better world that he chooses to realize for all humanity. And for my daughter, who is married to a disabled Marine veteran who defended this country, I am glad when our government can spread the wealth through a system of taxation and provide food and health care for her children when their Dad is unable to work and although she works hard, the money is never quite enough to go around.
When Obama becomes President, we can return to the promise of America, the best that we can be, and once again, help one another and yes, Helen, spread the wealth of our kindness and compassion.

I suppose that since you get all the states that have "EVERYTHING" that you will also get all the terrorists that our men and women in the military have proudly fought to try and insure that 9/11 doesn't happen again. But apparently you do not care if something like that happens again in our country. Oh, and FYI that happened in one of your states. All of your elite colleges will also be of no use because who would want to pay for an education when all their hard work will go to "spreading the wealth". Good Luck with that. I am Kristi's mother and am really sad that she is trying to teach her daughter to work hard in school so that she will be able to have a job that pays well and does not have the common sense to realize that if Obama becomes president we will be living in a socialist nation which is what spreading the wealth is equal to.
